Cosmetics Business rounds up 8 more cosmetics launches now available to purchase, plus a look at Eight Saints’ upcoming SPF launch later this July

Kylie Cosmetics’ brand new lip gloss and lip balm officially launched this week, and has proven to go down well with fans after a majority of its stock sold out within 24 hours of going live.

Other notable launches include a two-in-one hair and body wash from Davines and German luxury fashion house MCM’s newest fragrance Ultra.

1. Kylie Cosmetics

The pricing for Kylie Cosmetics’ new Gloss Drip lip gloss and Glow Balm cheek and lip balm has been officially revealed.

The Gloss Drip retails for US$16, and the lip and cheek Glow Balm is being sold for $17.

It comes two weeks after the social media star and brand founder Kylie Jenner originally teased the launch to her fans.

Both products come in four different shades, with the lip gloss ranging in tone from watermelon pink to a clear gloss.

The balm’s darkest pigment, meanwhile, is a brownish rose shade, with the lightest shade coming in a clear form.

Jenner said the lip gloss helps to soften lips and provides a wet look without stickiness.

The launches are currently only available in the US, but are slated for a UK launch at a later date.

2. Davines

Hair care brand Davines has released a limited-edition two-in-one shampoo and body wash.

The dual-use product features slow food presidium ingredients, which the brand said have been used to spark conversations around regenerative organic agriculture in the beauty space.

The wash is made from 94.2% biodegradable ingredients and 81.8% natural origin ingredients.

It is also vegan friendly and has been designed to leave skin soft and hair hydrated.

The hair and body wash is available on davines.com for RRP £18.50.

3. Watermans

Watermans has launched Lashology, a new lash growth mascara which helps strengthen lashes.

The brand, which specialises in hair growth, said the product is infused with black castor oil, amino acids, biotin and peptides.

The ingredients help to nourish lashes from root to tip, strengthening and conditioning whilst the mascara lifts and separates, adding volume.

Available on watermanshair.com, the mascara is priced at RRP £24.99.

4. Boy Smells

Home and fragrance brand Boy Smells has created three new scents, inspired by three of their best-selling Kush candles.

Cashmere Kush has top notes of rhubarb, pink peppercorn, fresh aldehydes and a base of powdered musks, cashmere woods and ambroxan.

Cowboy Kush, meanwhile, features notes of hazelnut, white leather, mandarin and tobacco leaves.

Finally, Italian Kush makes use of pomelo, limoncello, black peppercorn and basil.

The three perfumes are available as Genderful Fine Fragrances in the UK at Harrods, RRP £105.

5. Summer Camp

GThe founder sof Soleil Toujours have launched a new mineral-based sun care brand called Summer Camp, targeting Gen Z consumers.

Summer Camp said its Mineral BFF suncreen offers lightweight protection that is 100% mineral, anti-pollution and antioxidant-rich with four products for the face, lips and body.

The Skin SOS Aloe Vera Mist, meanwhile, is a cooling, soothing and hydrating after sun product to calm and relieve skin.

The brand said each collection consists of formulas that are clean, reef-safe, vegan, gluten and cruelty free.

It has partnered with UK-based specialty retailer, Space NK, to bring the brand to select Walmart stores nationwide and on Walmart.com.

Prices start from RRP $12.

6. OPV Beauty

UK make-up brand OPV Beauty has launched its new ’Glow Perfect Face Palette’.

The palette comes in five different sets and features a combination of three shades to suit all complexions from deep, to medium and fair.

Created by East London-based sisters Bukola and Opeyemi Adeyemo, the founders said OPV Beauty is an inclusive and ethical beauty movement.

They added that the formula is also 100% cruelty-free.

7. MCM

German luxury fashion house MCM has released its newest fragrance Ultra, an Eau de Parfum for women.

The design has been inspired by the company’s own-brand backpack, and the scent makes use of blackcurrant, pink lady apple and natural Italian bergamot, combined with pink pepper.

Tuberose and jasmine also feature, in addition to cedarwood, tonka and moss.

The vegan formula has been made with biodegradable ingredients.

A 75ml EDP retails for $115, 50ml EDP for $90 and a 30mlL EDP bottle costs $75.

The fragrance can be purchased on mcmworldwide.com.

8. Eight Saints

Skin care brand Eight Saints is set to launch its Chase the Sun Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Face Moisturizing Sunscreen (RRP $34) on 15 July.

The brand said the SPF has been designed to protect skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays, whilst leaving behind a glowing finish with no streaky white residue.

Ingredients include hyaluronic acid, squalane and vitamin E, and the formula is claimed to be chemical-free, natural and reef-safe.
